Nicole Valentinuzzi

Nicole is the Director of External Relations at the Greater London Authority (GLA), responsible for all external-facing communications and engagement on behalf of the Mayor of London. She leads a series of high-performing teams covering press, marketing campaigns, creative services, strategic, digital and internal communications. Nicole is also responsible for the Mayor’s events programme – including London’s New Years Eve Fireworks show – and the delivery of major sporting events in London.

Nicole was Director of Communications at the Royal College of Nursing and, prior to that, the Director of Communications at the Institute for Government. She has 20 years-experience in public and not-for-profit sector communications. Nicole is a Trustee at Maternity Action and lives in East London.
