Holly Mitchell
Head of PR and Public Affairs, easyJet
Holly is Head of UK PR and Public Affairs at easyJet and leads the running of the press office as well as the airline’s corporate, financial and crisis communications, consumer campaigns and public affairs in the UK.
Since joining the airline in 2017, Holly’s experience has spanned navigating the airline’s reputation through the challenges of the pandemic, which garnered a PR Week Award through a campaign tackling Covid anxiety, charity fundraising and home-schooling support - all with the aim of keeping easyJet relevant and visible amidst one of the most challenging news agendas in recent times - through to the airline’s strong recovery and return to record profitability last summer.
Most recently, Holly and her team’s focus has been on driving an industry-leading reputation for accessibility and opportunity, with a programme of employer brand campaigns to tackle job stereotypes head-on and get more people into aviation, including a PR Week award-winning campaign to encourage over-45’s to become cabin crew and creative recruitment drives to encourage more women to become pilots.
