David Child

Director of PR and Brand , Thomas Cook

David Child is director of brand and PR at the relaunched Thomas Cook. He is responsible for all external media and social communications including managing the brand reputation for the new online travel business.

David is one of Thomas Cook’s leadership team rebuilding this new business from the ground up and can share his experience past and present of building brands using a range of media to promote and protect reputations.

Previously, David ran marketing and communications for the former business’ hotels and resorts division, and before that was a director in recently Edelman, where he was a director in the company’s brand team.
